Photo of the CPR train yard, railroad, railway tracks and some buildings in old downtown Port Coquitlam. Taken 1911/1912? On the left side of the image are some buildings from the old downtown, text on buildings say Real Estate Trust Co. and Galers Shoe store. Telephone lines or power lines(?) run on both sides of image. In the background are a horse and wagon, CPR train cars (with numbers C.P. 80462) and two steam trains blowing smoke/steam. On the left side of the image are a set of railway tracks that diverge into a 3 track ? rail yard The foreground is an open space lined with dirt and a signal light beside the railway tracks. |

Donated by Lorne Scott. Stated that he recieved the prints from a grandparent or older relative who lived around Port Coquitlam a long time ago. Says his family came to the area around the 1910s returned home to the UK around 1914 and then returned to Canada after WWI. Unknown when the photos were acquired. |
