Description |
Positive photographic slide. May Day Parade on Shaughnessy street in Port Coquitlam. The Parent-Teacher float. The perimeter of the float is decorated in orange and red paper flowers/ruffles. A white banner with blue print along the edge of the float says "Coquitlam Parent-Teacher Council". An above banner reads "P.T.A Links Home and School". This saying is visualized on the float where a school is on one end of the float and a home on the other, and then a white chain connects the school and the home. Women (presumably part of this council) stand on the float with sashes that associate them to specific schools within the district. |
