A.R. Millard was a pioneer logger, farmer, and government liquor vendor born in California 1869. He came to Port Coquitlam c. 1900. A. R. Millard's Store was located on Shaughnessry Street next to CPR tracks. The building later became the Morrison and Rodgers store, and later the Red and White Store in 1947 when it was bought by Fred McCallum. The building was demolished 1962. A parking lot now stands in its former location next to the Masonic Hall and underpass. |
