Acrylic on canvas. No frame. Dimensions: 45.5 x 35.5 cm Painting depicts the T. Routley fish market made of wood. Stacks of boxes on side of buidling below store name sign. Two figures stand at the entrance of the fish market; a young girl in blue clothing and a man holding a knife and fish who presumably works at the fish market. A dog pears towards the figures at the corner of the store. A realestate for sale sign is half visible at CL of painting. Artist's tag, PL, shown at BL corner of painting. The painting is based on a black and white photograph in the archive (see 2003.052). |
