Description |
Acrylic on canvas. Dark brown wood frame with inner black wood border, no glazing. Dimensions: 68.5 x 103.5 cm Painting depicts logs, a tugboat (named Harken No.1), and a boat (named Master) on te Pitt River. "Master" is a wood boat with white boards on the upper deck area, green boards make up the hull, with natural wood details/trim and doors. IX and VIII roman numerals painted in white at bottom of bow. A rail bridge and mountains can be seen in the background. Artist signature, "N. Hamelin," within the water at BL corner. |
