Oil on canvas. Wood frame with decorative gold inner border and black scrollwork/ornamental exterior. Dimensions: 27" x 23" A landscape painting depicting a lake scene where a moose stands facing up on the edge of the water taking up the BR corner of the painting. The scene seems to take place during sunset and this is illustrated by using a variety of colours in the sky which is then reflected in the water. A large tree is depicted in the background to the moose. |
